The moment I pulled in to Lion Garden’s Weddings 25 minutes east of Edmonton, I knew that I was in for a treat. The lion statues at the end of the drive was just a symbol of what was to come.

From where you park, the gorgeous venue opens up, with plenty of beautiful trees including Tamaracks, Spruce, Poplars etc.

The Ceremony site holds all of the rustic charm you could ask for, with benches made of old iron wheels, a wood gazebo, a root base table for signing documents, all sitting right next to a pond and fountain. The wrought iron gates behind the ceremony space also provide a lovely backdrop, and the trees surrounding provide both shade and color.  Can you imagine saying “I do” here?

 The ceremony location is just part of the charm, wait till you see the pine barn.

The moment you walk up to the barn, you know that it is going to be amazing. With natural pine throughout the entire barn, it has an earthly and rustic charm to it that is hard to find. Wooden tables and chairs, a beautiful balcony from above, and an absolutely stunning “LOVE” sign is a centerpiece.

 There is a gorgeous bridal suite upstairs for the bride and her party to get ready, with a stunning view out over the horse pasture. Cozy and intimate, spend the morning with your party all together while you prepare for your wedding.

Even the bathrooms and the bar are 100% rustic and unique, with an old steel grainery for the bar, and pine washrooms.

 And the other bonus to this wedding venue near Edmonton, is there are horses on site that will come say hi, and even photobomb a photo or two!
