Winter Adventure Engagement Session in Jasper National Park

Serena and Alex were the winners of my Ultimate Engagement Experience Giveaway that I hosted back in February with four other amazing vendors, and they could not have been more thrilled that they won! After a couple of phone consults and a location planning questionnaire, we chose two amazing locations within Jasper National Park that suited their vibe perfectly.
After getting ready at the new Forest Park Lodge with Hair by Deena and Pretty as Picture Photography on Makeup, we headed out to the beautiful Pyramid Lake and Pyramid Island. These two love birds had never been here before and were in for a surprise of just how beautiful it all is! We explored the island, and the ice was still frozen enough to get shots of them out on the lake for their engagement photos. We also took some time in the gazebo, and the ceremony site where many couples choose for their wedding location in Jasper.
Since this is an adventure engagement session, we couldn’t just have a couple pictures and be done! After a quick outfit change, we drove five minutes down the road to Patricia Lake. While not as well known, it offers amazing stunning mountain vistas, with picnic tables and fire pits for the perfect engagement session. In the summer there are many trails around these two lakes for a hiking couple’s session in the mountains.
We had a beautiful golden hour glow for the champagne spray. Isn’t the height out of this spray absolutely phenomenal?! And it's not true champagne, but sparkling juice! This is a great cheap option, instead of wasting all of the good liquor!
We ended off the evening with a fire with smore’s. What could be more beautiful and fun?
