Sunset Couple’s Photography in Banff National Park

When the snow pack and ice at Maligne Lake in Jasper had unfortunately not melted enough for this couple’s trip to Spirit island at the beginning of June, they made the best of it and opted for a road trip through the Rockies.

Hannah and Andrew came all the way from Atlanta, Georgia for their adventure session, and though it didn’t pan out exactly as they had planned, we were granted with a beautiful sunset for their adventure!

We started with some cute campfire and coffee photos, courtesy of their jet boil, then moved to the edge of Two Jack Lake. It was a beautiful, calm evening in June. Since they were camping, we did a couple cute shots in the tent, and they both changed into more formal wear for sunset, and boy did the sun come for us!

Just when we thought we weren’t going to get any beautiful colors, the faintest pink started above the mountains, then became a full plethora of colors.

We finished up with some cozy blue hour photos in the tent, and then said farewell. This adventure session in Banff National Park was definitely not one to forget!
