Rhiannon and Daniel picked the most gorgeous fall evening for their engagement photos, and I was super stoked to be their engagement photographer! They decided to do their photos close to home, so after a short debate (but we really didn’t have to consider many other locations), we chose Hard Luck Canyon. If you are looking for engagement photo locations in Whitecourt, this is the perfect option for any nature lovers or adventurous couples.

The location is accessible to most, and as long as you can do a few flights of stairs, you will have no issues getting down into the canyon! Depending on the time of year will determine how much water is running through the canyon, and unless it's a really wet year, fall will generally just have a trickle of the stream running through the gorgeous canyon.

 The trees were the perfect orange color, and as we descended into the canyon, the little trickle of the stream reflected the colors back at us.

We spent most of the time exploring the canyon, heading to the mouth of the canyon just in time for the pop of color that the sunset gave us.
