Couple’s Photography Session in Lofoten Islands, Norway

While many people think of tropical destinations for their vacation, there is a piece of the population that yearns for the wild and rugged locations, the places that take time to get to, where the weather isn’t always perfect but the scenery always is.

Silke, her husband and daughter travelled from Germany to the beautiful Lofoten Islands for their family vacation, and while there I was fortunate enough to meet them and capture their love for one another. Can you believe this is their first time having professional photos taken?

Couple's session in Norway

We chose a gentle stroll around Lille Kongsvatnet, to a beautiful little meadow overlooking the lake and the surrounding peaks. As a couple’s photographer, I focus on showing the intimate and real moments between a couple instead of stiff and posed photos, to capture the love story between two people as accurate as possible. It didn’t take long before they loosened up, and I think they had a great time! Would you agree?

I would love to capture your love in this amazing corner of the world, so if you are an adventurous couple looking to document your story, planning to elope in Norway, or just looking for a photographer for your Lofoten adventure, I would love to chat! Planning a wedding or even just a trip can be stressful, but don’t forget to hire a photographer who won’t let you forget these once in a lifetime moments.
