The good news, there are many alternatives! Just really depends on what you are looking for. 

The destinations below offer spaces for both the ceremony and reception space. Some offer space for up to 100 people, others for 40 or less. 

Mountain Destinations I would recommend that could host both a ceremony and reception:

There is of course plenty of options for venues in Banff and Canmore. I chose these specific venues to highlight because I believe they give a similar feel to those of getting married in Jasper. Wide open spaces, connection to nature, small town vibe.

If you are looking for ceremony locations only and were originally considering Jasper National Park, I highly recommend sticking to there once things are open 100% again. The landscape might be slightly different, but it’s still the beautiful park we remember. Plus, how cool would it be to look back on your wedding photos in 20 years and see how much growth has come back in the exact same location??
